Have a great summer!

What an amazing year! This was an absolutely fantastic class, and if you needed any proof, we managed to get a great picture of the 19 of us on our first try!

And congratulations to our Math Olympians! What a great way to kick off the summer!

Tomorrow is Field Day (and the final day of school)!

Remember, school lets out at 1:40pm.

 Please bring your backpack and Chromebook tomorrow. Also, if you would like to take home some of your mealworms/beetles, make sure to bring a container to transport them home in.

Homework for Wednesday, June 7th

1) Read for 30 minutes
2) Talk to your parents and see if you had any relatives involved in the D-Day invasion 73 years ago.

Tomorrow is eXchange Autographs Day. Students will have time to sign yearbooks or booklets with other students in the grade if they choose.

Homework for Tuesday, June 6th

1) Read for 30 minutes

Yearbooks went home today. If you ordered a yearbook and did not receive it, shoot me an email or send a note with your student tomorrow and I can check with the office. If you did not order one and would like to, there are a few extras for sale in the office. Student will have the opportunity to sign each other's yearbooks on Wednesday on eXchange autographs Day if they choose.

Tomorrow is Work Out Day.

Homework for Monday, June 5th

1) Read for 30 minutes
2) Finish/polish Rory Deutsch citizenship essay. Essays will be submitted to judges on Monday.

Next week is our last week of school, with 1:40pm release on Thursday and Friday.

Homework for Friday, June 2nd

1) Read for 30 minutes
2) Complete Word Poster and study for your spelling quiz (The words this week were selected by students. Some words are quite challenging and well above grade level, so I am not expecting perfect scores, and just want students to give it their best effort)
3) Complete "next to final" draft of your citizenship essay. I will print out essays tomorrow for final edits before they are due on Monday.

** Book Fair tonight at 6pm!
** Box Tops due tomorrow!
Tomorrow is USA Day, so wear your red, white, and blue!

(We will have our 50 state challenge as well, but it is optional, and students are not expected to study)
